To begin, gather your favorite patterned papers, cardstock, adhesive, scissors, and any additional embellishments you'd like to use. Having a variety of patterned papers will add visual interest and make each card truly stand out.

Choose the Perfect Sketch:

Select a sketch that resonates with your style and fits the occasion or theme you have in mind. A versatile sketch with clean lines and defined elements works best for this technique. You can find sketch inspiration online or create your own based on a simple layout.

Plan Your Design:

Before diving into the cutting and assembling process, take a moment to visualize how you want your cards to look. Consider the placement of patterned paper, focal points, and any additional elements you want to incorporate. Sketch out your ideas or create a digital mock-up to guide you throughout the process. Cut and Arrange the Patterned Paper:

Experiment with different combinations, mixing and matching patterns and colors to create visually appealing designs. Remember, each card should have its own unique personality while still maintaining a cohesive look.

Add Embellishments or Not:

Enhance the visual appeal of your cards by incorporating embellishments. Consider using ribbon, die cuts, stickers, or even hand-drawn elements to add texture and interest. Play around with different placements and see what works best for each card. Or you can choice to do like I did and let the sentiment and Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper be the star of the show by not adding any embellishments.

Assembly and Finishing Touches:

Once you're satisfied with the arrangement of patterned paper and embellishments, it's time to assemble your cards. Adhere the elements to your cardstock base using adhesive or foam tape for added dimension. Don't forget to add a sentiment or a personalized message to complete each card.
