Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am sharing with you very bright and cheerful card using the Garden Wishes Bundle and a fun color combination! Here's a look at the card.

Color is Life:

Color is one thing that I love more than anything else in the world. It can change your mood in a second. Today's color combination makes me feel bright happy and cheerful! I hope you agree! For todays card I used Polished Pink Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight as my main colors. I am in such a spring mood right now and I am sure as many of you are so very tired of the cold weather. Since Mother Nature seems to be teasing us at the moment with this back and forth between Spring's warm weather and the winter chill.

Creative Color Challenge:

So, I thought you all may want to play along with me this week with a fun color challenge. So, I cam up with this fun idea! Create a project using the three colors listed or something similar and share your projects online using the hashtag #rickscreativecolorchallenge that way we can all see what each other is creating and be inspired.

All the rules are listed in the graphic above. As you can see there's not that many rules. So have fun and create a way. I cannot wait to see what you come up with.

Finishing Touches:

To finish off my card I used a piece of Polished Pink Cardstock and stamped the dandelion from the Garden Wishes Stamp Set on it in Polished Pink Classic Ink. I then used the Detailed Trio Punch and punched a decorative border in each corner. I am sure going to miss this punch because I use it a lot. Not as much as my Everyday Label Punch which is also retiring, but a lot!

I attached the Polished Pink layer to a piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock that I cut to 4" x 5 1/4" and embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Another product that I am going to miss because I used it all the time.

I added two die cut pieces from scrap cardstock in Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight Cardstocks. I used the two largest dies from the Dandy Wishes Dies to do this.

After attaching the die cuts using Multipurpose Liquid Glue I added a little Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon for a little more color and texture (it didn't show up as pretty as it is in this picture). I also added a stitched banner die cut that I cut from Daffodil Delight Cardstock using the Tasteful Labels Dies. I popped that up on Stampin' Dimensionals and added a few of the clear dots from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials. And my friends that finished off my card.

Thanks for dropping by today, if you need anything I have shared today you can pick it up in my online store. At the time of writing this post everything I used was still available for purchase. I have everything listed in the Stampin' Up! Shopping List below.
