Bendi Fun Fold - Garden Wishes Card
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a fun little fun fold card using the Garden Wishes Stamp Set and the Dandy Wishes Dies. This is a pretty easy fun fold but has a few steps to it. Here's a look at the Bendi Card
Color Combination:
For the colors of this card I used Basic White, Gray Granite, Petal Pink, & Just Jade. I thought this would be a fun color combination as we transition to warmer Spring weather.
Bendi Back Bendi Back Bendi Way Back:
To make the Bendi Fun Fold Card you are going to do a little cutting and measuring of the cardstock pieces to get it to slide into the slits that you will cut so that it stands up and holds its shape.
Honestly you don't have to bend the cardstock way back, but your Bone Folder is going to be your best friend for this fun fold card. It helps to break the fibers of the cardstock. So, that you can move it into the shape for the Bendi Card. And it will unhook so that you can place it into an A2 Size envelope.
Sizes & Dimensions:
Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
To cut the slit line up the long side to the left-hand side on the Paper Trimmer at 2 3/4"mark.
Slice from the 5 1/4" mark on the arm of the Paper Trimmer to the 3 1/2" mark on the arm. This will make a 1 3/4" long slit.
Just Jade Cardstock: 4 1/4" x 2 1/4"
To cut the slit line up the short side to the left at 2 1/2" mark on the Paper Trimmer. Cut from the 2" mark on the cutting track to 1 1/4" mark. The slit will be 3/4".
Score at 1/2"on both sides
Gray Granite Cardstock: 4 1/4" x 1 1/4"
Score at 1/2" on both sides
On both the Just Jade and the Gray Granite pieces you are going to pick one of the 1/2" score lines that will go into the slits cut and flip it over and mark on the score line at the top and bottom of the cardstock at 1/4" and cut a notch and cut away the rest of the score line to the pencil mark.
Finishing Touches:
To finish off the card I colored in the dandelions with Petal Pink Stampin' Blends and Just Jade Stampin' Blends. I then added a few of the Bumblebee Trinkets for the finishing touch.
