Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share a little gift bag with you using the retiring Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper and an upcoming bundle from the July-December Mini Catalog. The bundle that will be coming out in just a few days is called Celebrate with Tags, and it's a fantastic bundle that will be great all year long for your gift giving tag needs. Here's a look at the gift bag that I made using both of these wonderful items from Stampin' Up!.
Tips & Tricks:
This gift bag uses a piece of Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper cut at 8" x 12". The finished bag measures 2 7/8" wide by just a little over 5"tall. So, it's a good size little gift bag. The sides both come in at an angle to make the bottom wider than the top, making it a fat bottom bag. It's really a very easy bag to make and it's so personal when you make a gift bag and feel it with treats for someone.
The tag was made using the upcoming Celebrate with Tags Bundle from the 2022 July - December Mini Catalog. As I mentioned in my introduction this is a great new bundle that will let you create tags all year long for your gift giving needs. The bundle consists of the Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set and the Celebrations Tag Dies. In the Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set you have both sentiments and images that will allow you to create tags and cards for Winter holidays, Birthdays, and Valentines as well or just a loved themed project.
The coordinating Celebrating with Tag Dies has fourteen different dies with the largest measuring 7 3/4" x 3". There are dies for candles, banners, a snowflake, hearts, and two fun folding tag shapes. You also have dies to cut out some of the sentiments and stamped images as well. There's a die that matches the mitten, ballon, and the stamped banner in this set. On today's project I used one of the tag dies and the two different size hearts as well as the stitched circle for the sentiment. So, you can see why I think that this is a great bundle for any occasion.
On the long side at 2 7/8", 5 3/4", 8 5/8, and 11 1/2".
On the short side at 2" and then flipped over and scored at 3/4" at the top
On the two side panels you are going to turn down the top flap and on the second and fourth sections make a small score line in the center of both those sections only to the end of the folded flap.
Add diagonal score lies from the bottom corners to the top center mark on both sides of these two sections.
Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you have a wonderful day. As of the time of writing this post both the Polished Dots and the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper were still available.
