Clean & Simple Card Class To Go Replay

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share the cards that I made for last week's class to go and the replay of the video with you. This class took me two days to get up between technical issues and me deleting the prerecorded video all in one day. I finally give in and took the hint that the video was not going to happen as planned.

So I waited till the next day and went live and did the video instead. Here's the replay of the live video class.

The Cards:

So, since I designed the projects once and then tried to do the video once and then finally got the live to work the next day I have three versions of each of the clean and simple cards to share with you. Each one is stepped up just a little each time.

For all the cards I used the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set and the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks from Stampin' Up!. I also used the same three colors of inks; Lemon Lolly, Lost Lagoon, and Bubble Bath. Two brand new colors and a returning favorite all of which will be available to purchase tomorrow when the new catalog goes live.

Rainbow Plaid Clean & Simple Card by Rick Adkins

For the first card I did a rainbow plaid background on the cards using two of the stencils from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks they layer together wonderfully to create this fun plaid. For the first card I simple stamped the sentiment, for the next one below I added some die cuts using the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies and the last one I simply added a few Classic Matte Dots to finish it off.

For the next card I made a square card and layered two more of the stencils in the set to create this fun design. I also used a mask that I made from cutting a square out of the center of a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. I used Lemon Lolly Ink and Lost Lagoon Ink to create the design and then added some dashes and dots with the same colors of Stampin' Write Markers going along the outside edge of the square design.

For the other two versions I repeated the process but I used Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to draw the dash lines around the squares.

For the last card I made a Mini Slimline card using a layer of Basic White Cardstock for the front panel and one of the stencils for the pattern and one of them and the mask that was included to create the space for the sentiment. I layered the panel onto my Mini Slimline card base and added a dash line with a Bubble Bath Stampin' Write Marker and for the sentiment I used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to make the dash line along the sentiment shape.

For the other two versions I turned one vertical and added a layer of Bubble Bath Cardstock to the Basic White Cardstock panel and the third I went back horizontal.

Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you have a wonderful day. I have all the current available supples listed below.

Happy Stampin'
