Easy Fun Fold Card - Eclectic Garden
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a cute little fun fold to share with you using the Eclectic Garden Stamp Set and the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper. This is a super easy card to make and it makes an impact. Here's a look at the project that I made to share with you today.
This is actually a card within a card. The center panel on the inside actually flips up so you have a place to write a personal message or stamp another sentiment. It's really easy to put together. The first thing you are going to do is take your two pieces of DSP and score them from point to point. You are going to fold and burnish them and attach them to the 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece of Colored Cardstock. I used a piece of Polished Pink Cardstock today. The two pieces of DSP will create the flaps on the sides.
When you close the flaps you need something to hold it close so you will use a smaller piece of cardstock or DSP to make a belly band. This is where the die cut comes in handy. It allows you to stamp a sentiment and to hind the seam of the belly band.
Measurements:
Polished Pink Cardstock - 4 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Basic White Cardstock - 4" x 10" scored at 5", die cut from the Scalloped Contour Dies or you could use a piece cut at 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"
Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper - (2) 3 1/2" x 3 1/2", 1" x 12"
