Elevate Your Crafting with Ink Blending on Small Die Cuts!
Hello and welcome to my blog! I wanted to share an exciting technique that will take your card making to the next level. Have you ever considered adding ink blending to small die cuts? It's a fantastic way to bring depth, dimension, and a pop of color to your projects.

Ink blending on small die cuts allows you to create beautifully blended embellishments or highlight intricate details. Here's a step-by-step guide to get you started.
Choose your small die cuts:
Select a set of small, intricate die cuts that you'd like to enhance with ink blending. These can be shapes, sentiments, or any other elements that catch your eye. I used the flowers and leaves from the Apple Blossoms Dies that are on the Clearance Rack.
Gather your supplies:
Grab a blending tool or foam applicator and your favorite ink colors. Ensure that the ink colors complement your project or create a captivating contrast.
Hold the small die cuts in place with a little painter’s tape or washi tape.

Apply ink to the blending tool:
Tap or swipe your blending tool directly onto the ink pad, covering it with a thin layer of ink. If you want to create unique effects, try blending two or more colors together on the tool.
Blend onto the die cuts:
Gently blend the ink onto the small die cuts using circular motions or gentle swipes. Start with a light hand and gradually build up the intensity of the color until you achieve the desired effect. Don't be afraid to experiment with different blending techniques to achieve various looks.

Admire the results:
Take a moment to admire your beautifully blended small die cuts! These ink-blended elements can now be incorporated into your card designs, scrapbook pages, or any other paper crafting projects.
The possibilities are endless when it comes to adding ink blending to small die cuts. You can create stunning backgrounds, focal points, or even use them as standalone embellishments. Let your imagination run wild and explore various color combinations, blending styles, and placement options.

I can't wait to see what you create using this technique! Feel free to share your ink-blended small die cut projects on social media using the hashtag #InkBlendedDieCuts. Your inspiring creations might even be featured on our page!
