Five Cards One Design - Honeybee Home Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have five cards using the Honeybee Home Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! which is on the retiring list and on the Last Chance List. I used the same design for all five cards. Let's get into it shall we.

Inky Backgrounds:

I used the same design for all five of the cards today using the Honeybee Home Stamp Set. I used stencil backgrounds that I created using various stencils from my stash to create the backgrounds. The backgrounds were created by using watercolor paper Ink blending and a rubber embossing mat. Each piece was inked up and placed onto the embossing mat then inside my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with a baby wipe. After the images dried I was able to cut them down and use them on my card base.

5 Cards 1 Design:

For each of the cards I used Basic White Thick Cardstock cut at 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" to create A2 top folding card bases. Each of the card designs have half of the card fronts placed on each card.

The various cards each have a different sentiment stamped in matching ink colors or just Tuxedo Black Ink. All the sentiments came from the Honeybee Home Stamp Set. The all-occasion sentiments from the Honeybee Home Stamp Set convey a variety of wishes, from missing you to happy news. Which was one of the reasons that this set was perfect for these cards.

On each of the panels I added a die cut that was cut from Watercolor Cardstock using the Harvest Dies. I cut a variety of each of the larger dies from the set from the Watercolor Paper.

The stencils that I used as I mentioned were from my stash. Some of them where retired from Stampin' Up! from past years. I also used some stencils from Dylusions Stencils by Ranger Signature Designer Dyan Reaveley. I've had these in my stash for a few years and had never used them.

As far as embellishing each panel I added some of the different colored sequins from the For Everything Fancy Sequins. Along with some of the Coastal Cabana Twine from the Three Twine Combo Pack.
