Flirty Flamingo - Pink Sunday

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am continuing with my series on Breast Cancer Awareness where I am sharing a new project each Sunday all month long using a different shade of Pink from Stampin' Up!. This week I am featuring Flirty Flamingo and I have a super cute project to share with you using this color and the new Framed Florets Stamp Set.

Pink Sunday Breast Cancer Awareness Banner

For this week's Pink Sunday Project I used the New Framed Florist Stamp Set (available to Demonstrators now or as part of your Starter Kit). It will be out in November to everyone, along with three items that are only while supplies last. I started out by cutting my card base from a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock.

For this week's card I also kept it on the Clean and Simple side of the card making spectrum. I stamped one of the floral images from the Framed Florets Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink and used my Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends to color the flowers. I also used my Night of Navy Stampin' Blends and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends to color the leaves. Since they both compliment Flirty Flamingo. I then used the matching die from the Framed Florets Dies (yes the dies and the stamp set have the same name) And set it aside to work on the rest of the card.

Flirty Flamingo:

Flirty Flamingo is a bright cheerful toned Pink that's part of the Brights Color Family. It's also one of the 2021-2023 In Colors. It comes in the Classic Ink Pad, a Set of Stampin' Blends Combo Pack, Ribbon, embellishments, Ink Refills, and some of the Designer Series Papers as well.

Supplies in Flirty Flamingo

Here's a small list of all the Flirty Flamingo Products currently available:

Breast Cancer Awareness Month:

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. You will see lots of pink this month in support of survivors, to bring awareness, and in remembrance just to name a few reasons.

Susan G. Koman Fondation:

This weeks charity organization is the Susan G. Koman Foundation. You can find out more details about it and donate on their site here!

Back To the Card:

After stamping and coloring the flowers I cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5" and added a piece of the Hues of Happiness DSP. I cut a piece of the DSP that was in Flirty Flamingo and stamped my sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink.

I then cut two additional panels of Basic White Cardstock and used my Blending Brushes to add a little Flirty Flamingo Ink along the edge before adding it with a lot of Stampin' Dimensionals to the card front. I then layered this onto a piece of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and then added the flower die cut.

I finished the card by adding a few of the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front. Thanks for dropping by today. I have the available supplies listed below in the shopping list. Remember that the Framed Florets Stamp Set/Bundle is currently only available to demonstrators or as part of the Starter Kit until November.
