Glad You're My Friend - Friends of the Forest

Hello and welcome to my blog today I have a Scene Card to share with you today. I used the Friends of the Forest Stamp Set, some ink blending, and Stampin' Blends Coloring to create this fun scene card.

Tips & Tricks:

To start out on this card I inked blended the background with some new In Colors and some regular inks from our Color families. I started out with the sky by ink blending with Tahitian Tide Classic Ink and I gradually let ink get lighter as it went down. I did this by just not reinking the brush as I went down. I only added more color to the top section each time. I repeated the process at the bottom for the grass. I used Parakeet Party Classic Ink and a little Granny Apple Green Classic Ink to do this.

I then stamped the trees and mushrooms in Tuxedo Black Ink. As well, as the fox, the tree trunk and the rabbit. The deer I stamped on a separate piece of Basic White Cardstock. I colored the animals with some of the Natural Tones Stampin' Blends and as well as the tree trunks. I then came back in with a White Gel Pen and added some white accents to all of them. For the leaves on the trees aI used my Parakeet Party Stampin' Blends and my Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends, and just did super simple coloring. The mushrooms I colored with my Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blends.

Finishing Touches:

To finish off the card I punched out the deer with the matching Builder Punch and colored around the outside outline with my Stampin' Blends to match the background.

I then popped her up on with a few Stampin' Dimensionals. I added the panel to a Basic Black Cardstock mat and added the entire panel onto a Basic White Thick 4 1/4" x 11" card base.

Thanks for dropping by today I hope you have a wonderful day. You will find all the supplies listed that I used today in the shopping list below.
