Happy Anniversary SIP Card - Rings of Nature & Celebrate Everything DSP

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a super cute project to share with you using Rings of Nature Stamp Set & the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper. The Rings of Nature Stamp Set and the Celebrate Everything DSP are in the July-December Mini Catalog and can be found on page 62 & pages 68-67. This was a super quick and simple project and I know that you are going to love it. Here’s a look at today’s featured project and in this blog post I will give you some tips & tricks on how to recreate it as well.

For this week’s SIP Card, I used a card base made from a piece of 4 ¼” x 11” Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then simply added two circles from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper. I cut the circles with the Layering Circles Dies, before attaching them to the card base. I then stamped the tree rings from the Rings of Nature Stamp Set in Poppy Parade Classic Ink, before using my Paper Snips to fussy cut it out. Once I had it cut out, I simply attached the tree ring with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

After attaching everything to the front I simply then took my Paper Snips and cut off any of the DSP that was over hanging. This allowed me to just simply clean up the edges; to make a clean look to the card front. Next, I took a scrap of Basic White Cardstock and stamped the acorn from the Stamp Set; I stamped the base of the acorn using Crushed Curry Classic Ink and the top of the acorn with Crumb Cake Classic Ink. I then simply fussy cut both pieces out using my Paper Snips and attached the two pieces together with a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish off the card I added my sentiment onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock. This was just a scrap piece of ¼” x 3 ¾” cardstock that I had in my strip jar. I stamped the sentiment in Crumb Cake Classic Inkand simply attached it to the card front with a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I then added the acorn to the card front with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional to secure it in place.

Thanks for dropping by today, I hope you have a wonderful Sunday, and that you will give this week’s SIP Card a try. You can find all the supplies listed below in the Shopping List if you would like to make a purchase and support my small business. Until tomorrow I have a fabulous day.
