It seems like only yesterday that we said hello to the Garden Wishes Stamp Set. And now we are saying goodbye to it and the matching Dandy Wishes Dies and the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. So, I had to so it a little more love this wee and make a fun spring hello card using these products. Here's a look at my card for today!
Garden Wishes Stamp Set:
Celebrate dandelions with the Garden Wishes Stamp Set! Beautifully lifelike, hand-drawn dandelions and an adorable bee accompany your greetings of support and friendship.
I loved this stamp set when it came out two years ago and thought it would be fun. I think love the mix of fonts more than anything. I always love the mix of script fonts with regular fonts. I think it's a great look. I also love the the dandelion images as well. Plus the little bee is cute too. On my card today I used the single dandelion and the simple hello sentiment.
I paired the stamped focal image with a piece of the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. I pulled the colors for my card from the DSP. I stamped the single dandelion in Daffodil Delight Classic Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock. I matted the focal image in the same Daffodil Delight Cardstock that I used for the card base. The DSP I matted it in a piece of Basic White Cardstock. I popped the focal image up on the front of the card with a few Stampin' Dimensionals.
To finish off the card I used a few Genial Gems sprinkled around the card. Sadly these too are retiring. I have used them a lot over the last year on different projects. I will miss them but not as much as I will the Square Vellum Doilies.
