Hippest Hippos Fun Fold Card

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a fun little project to share with you using the Hippest Hippos, which can be found in the July-August Sale-A-Bration Brochure on page 4. I know that you are going to love this project. Here’s a look at todays featured project.

For my little fun fold card today I used the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set for the sentiments and images, along with the Hippo Dies to cut each of the darling little hippos out. I stamped them each in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored each one with either Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends or Gray Granite Stampin' Blends.

To keep the fun going on the card I used the fun summery Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper as my background. I alternated the patterns from only two sheets of the designer series paper. But I used the reverse sides of each piece as well as the front sides as well. This allowed for more playfulness to the card.

For even more fun with this already fun card I added some of the Fun Flowers Resign Shapes to the card and each Hippo. For the hippo on the front I gave him a boutonniere and the other two I added one behind their ears.

When you open the card up you can see that each of the hippos have their own place on the card but when it's closed they are staggered so that you can still see each of them. I also added a piece of Basic White Cardstock to the inside so there was a place to write a personal message. Thanks for dropping by today I hope you have a wonderful day. If you need any of these supplies you can pick them up in my online store in the shopping list below.

Happy Stampin'
