Hooray!
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a super cute and easy card to share with you using the Lovely Layering Decorative Masks and the Occasionally Funny Stamp Set. Let's get into it.

Think About Crumb Cake:
You don't always have to stencil onto white cardstock, you can stencil on colored cardstock but the results can be a little different. I picked Crumb Cake Cardstock today to do the stenciling on. Most of you know already I love Crumb Cake it's my favorite neutral color. It's like that little black dress that goes with everything. I paired the The Crumb Cake with Bermuda Bay Ink and Cardstock for the inking of the stencil and the mat layer of the card.

Only One Ink Pad:
I only used one ink color to create the focal image for today's card. To achieve this you have to go in with a very light hand with the first application of ink onto your Blending Brushes. I used the lightest layer on the first layer (the most opened stencil from the Loveliest Layers Decorative Masks). I then built up the color intensity with the next layers.

To finish off the card I added a layer of Glitter Gel that I had in my stash that was actually the perfect match to the Bermuda Bay Ink. It looks slightly bluer in the photos but it actually in real life looks very similar. I added the Glitter Gel on the last layer of the leaf stencil. I didn't want it to over power the card I only wanted it as an accent. I then added a few Opal Rounds to the card for a little more subtle bling. The last step was stamping my sentiment from the Occasionally Funny Stamp Set. Which by the way if you have not checked out it has some super great sentiments. Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful day!
