Hope You Are Feeling Better – Apple Harvest SIP Card
Updated: Aug 29, 2022
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a super cute SIP Card project to share with you using Apple Harvest Stamp Set. The Apple Harvest Stamp Set is in the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog and can be found on page 54. This was a super quick easy SIP project and I know that you are going to love it. Here’s a look at today’s featured project and in this blog post I will give you some tips & tricks on how to recreate it as well.

Tips & Tricks:
To start off making this SIP card you are going to stamp the background which is made from a piece of Sweet Sorbet Cardstock and cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”. I stamped the apples on the branch with Real Red Classic Ink instead of using Sweet Sorbet Classic Ink because I wanted it to be a little darker than just tone on tone. The Real Red Classic Ink gives me just a slightly darker hue of red than the Sweet Sorbet Classic Ink would have and adds a little more drama to the SIP Card.

Multicolor Stamping:
After stamping the background of the card I worked on the focal image which was just the one apple from the Apple Harvest Stamp Set. I wanted to have multiple colors on the apple so instead of using ink pads I went with my Stampin’ Write Markers in Sweet Sorbet, Old Olive, and Soft Suede. This is a great way to get a multicolored image with just a few markers instead of trying to mask every little section off and inking it and stamping multiple times. By using the Stampin’ Write Markers I could ink up all up at one time and stamp it at one time, and get the multicolored image that I wanted for today’s SIP Card.

Adding a Little More Color:
To add a little more color to my card today I decided to pull in some Old Olive Cardstock that I stamped the small flower from the stamp in on tone on tone using Old Olive Classic Ink. I also adding in a little Pool Party Cardstock for an adding touch of color to brighten up the card a little. I then added a strip of Sweet Sorbet Cardstock stamped with the little hatch pattern from the stamp set in Real Red Classic Ink. All that was added with just a little Stampin’ Seal Adhesive before adding the focal image and sentiment to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Cardstock Sizes:

5 ½” x 8 ½” – Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
1” x 4 ¼” – Pool Party Cardstock
¾” x 4” – Old Olive Cardstock
½” x 4 ¾” – Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
½” x 3” – Basic White Cardstock
2” x 2” – Basic White Cardstock
