In The Country Valentine's Day Card
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a cute masculine Valentine's Day Card to share with you using the In the Country Stamp Set from Sale-A-Bration.
To start off making my card I cut my card base which was made from a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. The base was cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2". I then pulled out my scraps of Basic White Cardstock and went to town punching out hearts using the solid heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. I arranged all the hearts on the card front with alternating rows and adhered them down with a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Once the glue was dried I cut off any hearts that were overhanging the card base with my Paper Snips.
Once I had the card base ready to go I then stamped one of the images from the In The Country Stamp Set (which is a $50 level 1 Sale-A-Bration Item) in Tuxedo Black Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock and colored it with my Alcohol Markers. I used a Combination of Stampin' Blends and Artify Alcohol Brush Markers to color the image. I will list the Stampin' Blends that I used below. I then used the next to smallest scalloped stitched rectangle die from the Scalloped Contour Dies to cut it out. I added a strip of Tahitian Tide Cardstock to the center of the card front before attaching the colored image with Stampin' Dimensionals.
To finish off the card I added the sentiment in Tahitian Tide Classic Ink onto one of the hearts. The sentiment came from the Love Cats Stamp Set found in the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. And then added a few of the blue sequins from the For Everything Fancy Sequins attached with a little Fine Tip Glue. I sprinkled the sequins around the card for that little extra touch of bling and sparkle.
