Pretty Peacock Cardstock – 5 1/2” x 10” scored at 4 1/4” & 8 1/2”
Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper (outside base flap) – 1 1/4” x 5 1/4”
Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper (inside) – 4” x 5 1/4”
Pretty Peacock Cardstock (outside card) – 3” x 7” scored at 3 1/2”
Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper (outside) – 2 3/4” x 3 1/4”
Basic White Cardstock (outside) – scraps for Stamping & Die Cutting
Basic White Cardstock (inside) - 4" x 5 1/4", 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"
Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper (inside) - 1 3/4" x 2 3/4"
two Coordinating Ink Pads (I used Pretty Peacock Classic Ink and Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink Pads)
an embellishment (I used the Loose Frosted Dots)
Multipurpose Liquid Glue (or other strong adhesive)

Step-by-Step Tutorial: Mastering the Double Flap Fun Fold Technique:
In this section, we'll guide you through the step-by-step process of creating a Double Flap Fun Fold Card. From scoring and folding the base to adding flaps and decorating with the Irresistible Blooms Bundle, you'll learn all the techniques needed to achieve a professional and polished look. With detailed instructions and accompanying visuals of the card, you'll soon become a pro at this captivating card-making technique.
Start off by scoring your 5 1/2" x 10" piece of Pretty Peacock Cardstock at 4 1/4" & 8 1/2". This will create the first set of flaps on your card.
Fold and burnish your scored lines with a Bone Folder for crisp lines that will fold flap when shut.
On the small flap on the front attach your 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper. On the second flap attach your 4" x 5 1/4" piece of DSP.
On the inside of the card attach a piece of Basic White Cardstock cut at 4" x 5 1/4" to have a place to write your personal message.
Close the card so that we can work on the front small card. This is what creates the Double Flap.
Cut a piece of Pretty Peacock Cardstock to 3" x 7". Score this in half on the 7" side at 3 1/2" fold and burnish the card. Attach the small card base to the smaller front flap of the larger card with strong adhesive.
Cut Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper to 2 3/4" x 3 1/4" and attach to the front small flap.
Attach a piece of Basic White Cardstock cut at the same size to the inside of the small card.
Stamp your floral and leaf images from the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set onto your scraps of Basic White in your desired ink colors. Cut them out with the coordinating Irresistible Blooms Dies and attach to the small card on the front.
Add your sentiment on a tag die cut from Basic White Cardstock in a coordinating color and embellish as desired to finish off the card.

If your large card doesn't want to close all the way you may need to trim just a smidge off of the larger flap. I trimmed mine down just by lining it up in my trimmer and taking off just a little extra off the flap to make it close.
To achieve crisp folds use your Bone Folder. I find that if I use it on onside of the cardstock and then flip the card over and burnish it again on the back I get much better folds.

When it comes to changing colors for a card that I use Designer Series Paper on I always go with the colors that Stampin' Up! has put on the back of the packaging. I know that they have done all the work with the color coordination, so I can pull any of these colors and put them together and my card or project will look great. Follow this tip and you will never go wrong with putting colors together on your projects.
