Happy Hedgehogs:

Adorable hedgehogs mingle with flowers, butterflies, forest mushrooms, and birds in the Happy Hedgehogs Stamp Set. With the Happy Hedgehogs Stamp Set you can combine the images to create a playful scene to adorn scrapbooks. Or create a card to thank someone in your life for their kindness and friendship. It's so easy—stamp the line-art images on a card front, add the sentiment that expresses your feelings, and send!

Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes:

My card base today I made using the NEW Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes. And let me just tell you they are super easy to use. Plus they are pretty as well. I was actually really surprised after I looked through the catalog a couple times and realized that they were actually A2 size card bases and not note cards; which was what I first had thought.

The Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes will allow you to create cards. They’re designed and printed to give you a creative head start. And boy do they I put this card together in no time. You can keep it simple and just stamp an image and sentiment, seal the coordinating envelope, and send it if you wanted to. Or dress it up with embellishments, ribbon, and more it's all up to you with the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes. Stampin' Up! made it easy to start; where you go from there is up to you!

There are 20 card bases and 20 envelopes in each pack of the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes. The folded card size is 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". With the envelope size being 4-3/8" x 5-3/4" which is a standard size A2 envelope. The cards and envelopes feature Crushed Curry, Fresh Freesia, Garden Green, Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party, Petal Pink, Starry Sky, Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide. So you can pair the with any of the Colored Cardstock, Designer Series Papers, Ribbons, and Embellishments in those colors with ease.

Finishing Touches:

To finish off my card I added a piece of the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper the the card front. Well, actually two pieces I just flipped one over and cut it a little smaller. I then stamped the hedgehog image from the Happy Hedgehogs Stamp Set in Early Espresso Classic Ink onto a scrap of Basic White Cardstock. I used the matching Hedgehog Builder Punch to punch them both out. I then took my Wink of Stella Clear Brush Pen and colored them.

Since I had stamped in Early Espresso Classic Ink, for the quills I used what ink was on the stamped image and softened it with the Wink of Stella Brush Pen for a watercolor look. For the body I squeezed my Petal Pink Classic Ink Pad a little and used the Wink of Stella to pick up the color. I started at the back where the shadow would be darker and worked my way towards the face. This way the ink got lighter as I went up. I then added them both to the card front. One with a little Stampin' Seal and the other that was standing in the foreground with a Stampin' Dimensional. I then stamped the sentiment in Petal Pink Classic Ink onto a scrap of Basic White Cardstock and popped it up with a couple Stampin' Dimensionals for the finishing touch.

Thanks for dropping by today I hope you have a wonderful day. You can pick up all the supplies I used today by clicking on the item in the shopping list below.
