Just a Quick Note - Mischievous Mice
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have another fun little card to share with you using the Mischievous Mice Stamp Set, but I also have the card sketch that I used to create this card to share with you as well. Okay, here's the card for today.

Card Sketch:
As I mentioned I created this card based on my card sketch for today on my Creative Calendar. It's a fun card sketch that allows you to create some fun quick projects and you can use up some of your Designer Series Paper. On the card sketch there's a flower in the center but as with any card sketch you can make them anything you want. I used the Layering Circles Dies and used the Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper and the Mischievous Mice Stamp Set as the focal image on my card today. Here's a look at the card sketch.

Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper:
On my card today I used two strips of the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper. This pack of Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! is a little different than our normal DSP it's cut at 4" x 6" pieces of Designer Series Paper. Paper is sized perfectly to be used for card fronts or cut into shapes and strips for card elements.

The designs on these pieces of fun paper include artsy swooshes, splotches, brushstrokes, and patterns for incredibly unique paper crafting projects. The paper includes a mix of small and large sized patterns so you can mix and match for different looks and combinations. I decided to cut this fun plaid pattern into strips to be used on my card today.

Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper Tips & Tricks:
I used the Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper as my accents elements along with a little Stampin' Blends coloring for the Mouse. I colored it with my Gray Granite Stampin' Blends, Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends, and I gave you a little sneak peek at one of the new 2022-2024 In Colors Sweet Sorbet on the eraser. I think the shimmer of the Mother of Pearl 12" x 12" Specialty Paper is perfect for that little extra touch that you will notice once the card is opened. Now I do need to tell you that this is a nonporous paper and can be die cut or stamped on. But you if you want to stamp on it you will want to do it with StāzOn ink and give it plenty of time to dry before touching it.

Thanks for dropping by today; if you need any of the supplies that you have seen on my blog post you can pick them up in my online store by clicking on the item in my shopping list below. I do earn a small commission from any thing that you purchase but it doesn't effect the cost you are paying.
