Noel Merry Christmas - Framed & Festive Stampin' Up!
Hello and welcome to my blog; this week I am featuring projects using the Framed & Festive Stamp Set which goes live today! This is a perfect addition to your holiday sentiment sets. Sentiment sets are great because they allow you to give new life to stamps in your collection!
For example today's card features the tree from the Caroling Mice Host Stamp Set and is given new purpose with the sentiments form the Framed & Festive Stamp Set!
To create the trees I first stamped them in Shaded Spruce Ink onto the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper and used my Garden Green & Cajun Craze Stampin' Write Markers with a block and Wink of Stella Clear Brush Pen to color them in. I think it creates a fun look to the trees and gives the card a pop of color as well.
To finish off the card I used the Silver Thread Twine and wrapped around the front of the card and unrivaled the ends to create the fun texture. I then added my sentiment on a circle die cut from a piece of Basic White Cardstock cut with one of the circle dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I did pop this up on two layers of Dimensionals because of the thickness of the twine. Then all I needed to do was add a few of the Gold Holly Leaves and a few Red Rhinestones and my card was complete.
