Quick & Easy Card Layout to Use Over & Over
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a quick and easy card layout to share with you. This is a great little layout to keep in your template bin or box for those times that you need a card in a pinch or you just want to jump start your crafty mojo. This is a great clean and simple jumping off point to start with because it's so versatile.

For my card today I used extra die cut pieces that I had laying around along with some strips of Designer Series Paper from my stash. I used my Small Blending Brushes to add some color to the floral die cut that I had cut from some Basic White Cardstock. You can do whatever ink colors for your ink blending that would match your cards. I just used my Distressed Mini Cubes because they where on my desk at the time.

The die cut was cut using the Harvest Dies. I love these dies and because they have great general floral silhouette shapes that you can just add to your project with ease. For this card I actually used two of the die cuts. One that I added the ink blending to and one I left just plain white without any blending for a little more interest. To my top folding card base made from Basic White Thick Cardstock I added a piece of Country Gingham Designer Series Paper cut at 1" x 5" attached about 1/4" from the left side. I then added a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock cut at 3" x 5" and attached it 1/4" over the right edge of the Designer Series Paper piece.

To finish off the card I added the my sentiment from the Flowering Tulips Stamp Set that I stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink onto a 1 3/4" circle that I cut from a scrap of Basic White Cardstock. I then added a few of the For Everything Fancy Sequins to the card around the sentiment. I then added a double bow that I tied from some Parakeet Party Baker's Twine from the 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine Combo Pack to the ink blended floral die cut with a Mini Glue Dot.
