Sending a Little Message - Bottled Happiness

Updated: Aug 9

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a super cute project to share with you using Bottled Happiness Bundle. The Bottled Happiness Bundle is in the 2022 - 2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog, and can be found on page 16. This was a super quick project and I know that you are going to love it. Here’s a look at today’s featured project and in this blog post I will give you some tips & tricks on how to recreate it as well.

The card base for todays card was made from a piece of Pool Party Cardstock cut at 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2". On the card base you are going to stamp the floral image from the stamp set going down at an angle from the top left to the bottom right. You are going to stamp this image in Costal Cabana Classic Ink. You could stamp it in Pool Party Classic Ink, but you will want it to stand out a little more from the card base.

Next you are going to add a piece of Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper to the center of the card base. This DSP is cut at 2" x 4 1/4". After that you will want to take some of the Soft Sea Foam Shimmer Ribbon 3/8" Seam Binding Ribbon and your Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends and color the ribbon with both the light and the dark blends. You want to create an ombre effect with the ribbon. Once the ribbon has dried you will take a 3/4" x 3 1/2" piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock and the Vintage Bottle Punch for the next step.

With the stripe of cardstock and the punch you want to punch both ends with the top of the punch to create a ribbon notch on both ends. Wrap the ribbon around the Melon Mambo Cardstock layer and tie it into a bow. Attach to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment in Shaded Spruce Classic Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock. Die cut the sentiment with a 1 3/4" circle die and a piece of Shaded Spruce Cardstock with a 2" circle die from the Layering Circles Dies. Attach the two circles together and place on the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish off the card you are going to color a few of the Iridescent Pearls with the Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends and attach to the card base. Thanks for dropping by today. You will find all the supplies that I used today listed below in the shopping list below.

Happy Stampin'
