Sending A Note Of Thanks

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a super cute little thank you card to share with you using the Sending Smiles Stamp Set from the new 2022-2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. These are actually the thank you cards that I sent out for the month of April to my customers.

SIP Card:

My card today and the card that I sent out to my customers as a thank you card for ordering during the month of April is also a SIP Card meaning it's mainly just stamps ink and paper. I did use a few die cut circles this month but besides that it's just stamps ink and paper. I used the new 2022-2024 In Colors all around the card. In my online card club packets I will pop in a thank you tag most of the time, my club members got the circle tag that you see on the front of the card.

To recreate this card you will start out with a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock cut at 4 1/4" x 11", and score it at 5 1/2" to make your A2 size card base. Next you will stamp the stem on the main flower in Parakeet Party Classic Ink. Then stamp the two flowers in Sweet Sorbet Classic Ink. This stamp set is designed so you can get the stem and flower to look connected. If you look at the top of stem you will notice that it gets smaller. Well, also if you look at the flowers they have a slight opening where the stem fits inside that opening.

After stamping the flowers and stem I then added the floral centers to the flowers. You are going to stamp the in Orchid Oasis Classic Ink. I used Tahitian Tide Classic Ink and Starry Sky Classic Ink with the smaller elements and sentiment on the card. One of the reasons I loved the Sending Smiles Stamp Set is because it has eight different sentiments that you can pair with the Sending sentiment. You can do like I did today and say Sending a Note of Thanks, or you could do Birthday Wishes, or Smiles across the miles, or the one that I used on Friday's card for the Blogging Friends Blog Hop Sending Sunshine to Brighten Your Day. I will link to the blog hop here if you missed it so you can see that card.

Finishing Touches:

To finish off the card I added a 1" x 3" strip of Orchid Oasis designer series paper from the 2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper Pack. And, then added the circle tag. To create the tag I cut a piece of Sweet Sorbet Cardstock with a 2 1/4" circle die from the Layering Circles Dies and a 2" circle from Basic White Cardstock. I stamped the stem flowers sentiment floral center and additional small flowers in the same ink colors that I used on the card. I added it over the DSP strip with a few Stampin' Dimensionals.
