Hello and welcome to my blog today I am sharing a fun little card using the Sending Smiles Bundle from the 2022-2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. This has proven to be a super fun little bundle to play with and I love the different floral elements in the set. Here's a look at the card that I designed to share with you today.
Tips & Tricks:
To start off with I stamped the stems of the flowers on the front panel in Mossy Meadow Classic Ink. To make the card more visually interesting I stamped each stem at different heights. By the way the stem and floral elements are all different stamps in the Sending Smiles Stamp Set. So, it was super easy to stamp in the different colors. For the floral elements I first stamped the flowers in Mango Melody Classic Ink and then used the Rock & Roll Technique to ink up the bottom half of the flowers in Polished Pink Classic Ink. It was super easy to get the two tone flowers that way.
Next I added a piece of the Vellum Layering Designs cut down to fit the card front onto my card base that was made from a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Polished Pink Cardstock. I then added the floral panel that I stamped with Stampin' Dimensionals. I love how you can see the Polished Pink behind the vellum. I think it's super pretty.
To finish off the card I stamped the large Sending stamp from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock and used the matching die to cut it out. I stamped the sentiment in Orchid Oasis Classic Ink. I then stamped the sub-sentiment onto a scrap of Basic White Cardstock in the same Orchid Oasis Classic Ink. I popped both up on Stampin' Dimensionals. For the larger Sending I had to cut some Mini Stampin' Dimensionals in half and place them behind some of the letters or parts of the letters so that it would be balanced and ship nicely through the mail. Thanks for dropping by today I have everything linked in the shopping list below if you would like to pick anything up.
