Stampin' Up! Christmas Scottie - Step It Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog; all week long I have shared projects featuring the Christmas Scottie Bundle from the Stampin' Up! July-December Mini Catalog. Today is my last set of projects featuring this bundle. I created a card for three different types of crafters using the same set of supplies with a couple additions here and there based on the crafting level.

Beginning Crafter Card:

If you are just starting out crafting; one of the best things that you can do is just start with Stamps, Ink, and a pack of Note Cards & Envelopes. Keep your supplies simple and keep your stamping simple. You can find all types of simple design by searching #simplestamping. So, I only used a Basic White Note Card and some Soft Sea Foam Ink, Soft Suede Ink, and a little Real Red Ink to create this fun festive and easy card using the Christmas Scottie Stamp Set.

Stampin' Up! offers a great selection of Note Cards and Envelopes. They come in Basic White (which is what I used today) Very Vanilla and currently as of this posting we have a set of Kraft as well. Each pack has 20 Note Cards and 20 envelopes so you can make a lot of cards with just a few supplies. You can shop the supplies I used for this card by clicking here!

Casual Crafter Card:

For the Casual Crafter who may have a few more supplies, I used the Christmas Scottie Bundle which comes with the Christmas Scottie Stamp Set and the Scottie Dog Punch. I still used a Basic White Note Card and the same Ink colors as before but I added in a little additional cardstock with a Soft Sea Foam Cardstock layer and a couple Basic White Cardstock layers as well to step the simple card up a little.

I stamped the Scottie Dog (in Soft Suede Ink) and the bow (in Real Red Ink) on different pieces of Basic White Cardstock before punching them out with the Scottie Dog Punch. I then added them to the note card with Stampin' Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots. I finished off the card by adding a few of the the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels. You can shop the supplies I used for the Casual Crafter Card here!

Avid Crafter Card:

For the avid crafter card I still used the Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes for the base and the Soft Sea Foam Cardstock mat layer and the Basic White Cardstock layer. But I also added a few additional layers as well. I added a strip of the Real Red Glimmer Paper and some of the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper.

I placed my scottie dog on a stitched square cut from some Basic White Cardstock using the Stylish Shapes Dies. This is also where I placed the sentiment as well. You ca shop the supplies for the avid crafter card here!
