Hello and welcome to my blog; with many card designs it's all about the layers. And today's project showcases that layering elements on your cards can be the focal image of said project. And most of the card today is from the Day At the Fram Designer Series Paper.
Tips & Tricks:
To start off with this card design you are going to cut one piece of the hill pattern from the Day At the Farm Designer Series Paper (which can be earned for Free During Sale-A-Bration with a $50 order in my online store). And this first layer is attached to the card base as normal. Next you are going to cut another section of this same DSP and cut around a set of the hills with your Paper Snips. Add a few Stampin' Dimensionals at the top of the section and attach to the card base.
You are going to repeat the process cutting each section of hills smaller and smaller and adding Stampin' Dimensionals at the top of each section of the hills you cut around. On this card I have four layers of DSP. One is the background (flat) layer, and three other sections of cut out hills each being popped up at the top. To add even more dimension to the card I used the matching dies from the On the Farm Dies to cut out the cow, sheep, pig, and three of the flowers from the same sheet of Day at the Farm DSP. I added them each tucking some behind each of the hill sections with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added them where they looked like they were standing on the hill, or just behind it.
To finish off the card I added the "Today is a Good day" sentiment from the On the Farm Stamp Set in Garden Green Ink onto a square of Basic White. The Basic White Cardstock was cut out with one of the stitched square dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I have all the supplies that I used today listed below in the shopping list.
