Stampin' Up! Forever Fern - You Can Do This

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have another fun card using the Forever Fern Stamp Set. This card is packed full of fun texture but I kept it clean and simple as well.

I started out my card by picking out the colors I wanted to use. I pulled them from the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper. Which is still available in my online store at the time of posting. I also featured this DSP on the front of the card. Stampin' Up! makes it super easy to figure out colors when you pull them from the designer series paper. You can always find a list of the coordinating colors used in the paper on the back of the paper.

I cut my card base from a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock and cut it to a standard A2 card size. I then cut out a piece of Basic White Cardstock for my layering piece. I used the Rectangle Stitched Dies to cut out the Basic White Cardstock layer. I used the largest of the dies to create the layer. I also cut out four pieces of the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper with the same die set (I used the largest of the smaller rectangle dies). I then took the designer series paper (or DSP) and placed them all in the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and dry embossed them all at the same time.

I attached all of them to the Basic White Cardstock layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue a little staggered and layered on each other to create the background. I then stamped one of the floral images from the Forever Fern Stamp Set in Evening Evergreen Ink and used the coordinating die from the Forever Flourishing Dies to cut it out. I attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish off the card I added my sentiment stamped on a piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock (scrap) in Evening Evergreen Ink. I then cut it out with the next size rectangle die that was smaller than the DSP layer. I think it was the next to smallest one. I attached it to the card front over the bottom of the floral image with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I added some of the white Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics around the card. Once that was dry (overnight is always better) I was finished with my card. You can find all the supplies listed below in the shopping list that I used on today's project.
