Hello and welcome to my blog; all week I am sharing projects using the Lighthouse Point Bundle from the 2022-2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. On today's card I used the stamp set and the dies to create the focal image for the watercolor background that I created for the card.
To create the watercolor background I used the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper taped to a Hard Board. To paint the background piece I used my Paul Rubens Professional Watercolors. After the painting was completely dry I used the Deckled Rectangle Dies to cut it out. I used the largest die in the set. I attached the watercolor piece to my card base cut from Basic White Thick Cardstock.
I used Basic White Cardstock, Real Red Cardstock, and Basic Black Cardstocks to cut out the pieces of the lighthouse from the Lighthouse Dies. I attached the pieces together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I popped the lighthouse up onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I finished off the card by adding the watercolor image to my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink. I used the Stamparatus because I could stamp it multiple times to get it dark enough and to make sure the ink was covered completely. I have all the supplies that I used on today's card listed below.
