The Greatest Gift is a Good Friend - Apple Harvest
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have another super cute project to share with you using Apple Harvest Stamp Set and the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper. The Apple Harvest Stamp Set is in the July - December Mini Catalog and be found on page 54 while the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper can be found on page 86 & 87 of the same catalog. This was a watercolor project and I know that you are going to love it. Here’s a look at today’s featured project and in this blog post I will give you some tips & tricks on how to recreate it as well.

I started out my card today by stamping the apples on the branch in Stazon Jet Black Ink onto a piece of the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I then broke out my watercolors and went to town having fun painting this beautiful image for you.

Once the watercolor piece was dry I cut down the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and layered it onto a mat made from Basic Black Cardstock. Next I created my card base made from a piece of 4 1/4" x 11" Basic White Thick Cardstock. I added a piece of the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper to the bottom portion of the card base; and a little strip of Basic Black just for a little more added interest. I then added the panel to the card base by popping it up on a few Stampin' Dimensionals.

I finished the card off my stamping my sentiment onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock in Versamark Ink. I covered the clear sticky ink in white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders pack. I then added some stitched lines around the watercolor image with a white gel pen to finish off my project.

Happy Stampin'
