There’s just something so magical about fairy images, and this Clean & Simple birthday card came together beautifully using the Twinkleheart Stamp Set from Unity Stamps Company. I stamped the fairy image twice onto Kraft 110 lb smooth cardstock, which instantly adds warmth and softness to the design. The images were colored with my TriBlend markers, then enhanced with colored pencils to add a bit more depth and detail—especially in the hair and wings. Keeping the coloring soft and simple really lets the stamped images shine without overwhelming the card.

For the background, I reached for the rectangle stencil from the 8-in-1 Essential Masking Stencils and blended two shades of ink into each corner, working the color gently up the sides for a subtle frame effect. A touch of Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink helped ground the fairies so they don’t feel like they’re floating, and a bit of white splatter adds a light, whimsical finish. I finished things off with faux stitched lines around the card front before mounting it onto a standard A2 card base. It’s a simple design with just enough detail to feel special—perfect for a fairy-loving birthday recipient.
