Hello Amazing Card Inspiration

Updated: Apr 14

Hello amazing and welcome to my blog; today I have a fun card to share with you using the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and coordinating dies. Here's a look at the card that I created to share today.

Background Play:

For my card design today circles are a big part of the pattern and design. I used a circle stencil and some Silver Embossing Paste to add the design to the 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Basic Black Cardstock. I actually start with a 1/4 sheet of cardstock when I use any type of paste. This allows me to cut the panel down smaller after the paste dries and I can get raid of any strange edges the embossing paste may leave.

While the background panel was drying I went ahead and stamped the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set onto some Basic Black Cardstock that I prepped with my Embossing Buddy and stamped it in Versamark Ink. I then covered all the butterflies in Silver Embossing Powder and heat set them with my Heat Tool. Once the embossing powder had cooled I ran them all through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the coordinating dies. So, now I have a few other butterflies I can use on projects.

Once the embossing paste had dried I attached the panel to a piece of Silver Specialty Paper the same one that I used to die cut the words Hello (Simon Says Stamp) and the amazing (Amazing Thanks Dies SU!). While I was die cutting I did cut two 3 3/4" circles from some Vellum Cardstock. I layered the two circle die cuts up together and attached to the card front. I then added the two die cut sentiments and the butterfly. To finish off the card I added a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the butterfly and the card. Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you have a wonderful day.
