For today’s project, I wanted to capture that seasonal charm in a birthday card that feels playful and festive. Bringing the Background to Life

For the base of this card, I wanted a background that felt as lively as a pile of crisp fall leaves. The Falling Leaves Background Stamp gave me that perfect foundation. To add some shine, I brought in the Falling Leaves Hot Foil Plates—because a little shimmer catches the light in the most beautiful way, almost like sunlight glinting off golden leaves. Layering ink blending with the Falling Leaves Stencil added both depth and richness, while a few die-cut leaves using the Falling Leaves Outline Dies gave me extra texture to tuck behind my focal image.

Pro Tip: When you’re layering multiple techniques like stamping, foiling, and stenciling, keep your color palette consistent. Sticking to a cohesive set of warm fall tones will make the whole design feel unified rather than overwhelming.

The Fox Takes Center Stage
