Hello and welcome to my blog today I am going to share a card with you using the Paint-A-Flower Poppy Outline Stamp Set from Altenew. I love floral images and I really love one that I can color. So, this stamp set checked all the boxes for me.
I used the largest stencil from the Loveliest Layers Decorative Masks (that just retired) to create the background of the card. I just turned and flipped over the mask to ink blend each set of colors. I used Poppy Parade Ink and Flirty Flamingo Inks to ink up the stencil. I did all the ink blending on a piece of Basic White Cardstock that was cut to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and then cut it down to 4" x 5 1/4". I find it easier to cut the panel down after stenciling. That way I can get the right size without worrying about missing anything up with inky fingers.
Once I had the stenciling down I stamped the poppy in Tuxedo Black Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock and colored it with my Alcohol markers. I then used the my Paper Snips to cut it out. Once I had it cut out I placed it on the card front with some Stampin' Dimensionals after wrapping some twine around the stem and tying a bow.
To finish off the card I added my sentiment stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink and a few Basic Rhinestones. I then routed the corners at the top of the card base. I made the card base from Basic White Thick Cardstock.
