Soft Ink Blended Spotlight Card featuring Twinkleheart Fairy

There’s just something extra sweet about a clean and simple card that still feels magical, and today’s project brings all those cozy, whimsical vibes together. I started with the adorable fairy from the Twinkleheart Stamp Set by Unity Stamp Company and stamped her onto Kraft 110 lb Smooth Cardstock. Colored pencils were perfect for adding that soft, hand-drawn look, and a quick blend with a colorless blender marker kept everything smooth and dreamy. Her wings absolutely come to life with a touch of Wink of Stella Clear Brush Pen, a dab of Stardust Stickles, and a few crisp white highlights. It’s such a simple combo, but it really gives her that soft glow you’d expect from a tiny magical friend.

To build the spotlight effect, I pulled out the 8-in-1 Essential Masking Stencils and used the circle mask with a light sweep of white pigment ink—just enough to create that soft, diffused halo behind her. After letting it dry, I added playful gold squiggle lines around the panel with a Uni-ball Gold Gel Pen and brought the stamped stars to life with a few extra gold touches. A pink rhinestone trio finishes everything with a subtle pop of color. This card may be clean and simple, but thanks to Unity’s charming stamps and versatile stencils, it still shines with personality and warmth—perfect for sending a little magic to someone special.
