Sorry You're Feeling Sluggish: Slugs & Kisses Stamp Set

Today I’m sharing a fun little “pick-me-up” card I created for Miss Ink Stamps, and I couldn’t resist reaching for the Slugs and Kisses Stamp Set, the Slugs and Kisses Outline Dies, and the Cobblestone Stencil for this one. I started with a clean top-fold A2 card base made from Neenah Ultra Thick Cardstock, then masked off a circle using one of the Background Basics Stencils from Penny Black. Inside that masked area, I blended soft gray ink over the Cobblestone Stencil to create a subtle focal point—just enough texture to make the little wizard stand out without overwhelming the clean design.

I stamped the adorable wizard holding his bucket of slugs onto Bristol Vellum Cardstock and colored him up with Prismacolor Pencils for that smooth, soft finish. After cutting him out with the coordinating outline die, I popped him up right in the center of the stenciled circle for a bit of dimension. To finish everything off, I stamped the sentiment “Sorry you’re feeling sluggish” in crisp Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. It’s a simple card with a sweet touch of humor—perfect for brightening someone’s day when they’re not feeling their best! I have more photos of today's products below as well as the featured products.
