There’s something about a clean and simple Christmas card that really lets a fun focal image shine, and this Santa sock made me smile from start to finish. I cut all the parts for the Santa Sock from my scrap cardstock using the Snowman and Santa Sock Die Set from Pixi Dust Designs, which is perfect for using up those leftover bits we all seem to collect. A little ink blending around the edges added just enough depth, and once everything was assembled with liquid adhesive, that sweet Santa face really came to life.

For the background, I kept things light and fresh with soft green ink blending on white cardstock to ground the focal image without overpowering it. The sentiment, also from the Snowman and Santa Sock Die Set, adds the perfect touch of humor, and a bit of Rock Candy Glitter gives subtle sparkle where it counts. Foam adhesive helped pop up the Santa sock and the card front, while faux stitching and white gel pen highlights finished everything off. Simple details, a playful sentiment, and a festive die set from Pixi Dust Designs—sometimes that’s all you need to create a Christmas card that feels extra special.
