Updated: Apr 14

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am sharing a card using the Sliding By Stamp Set from the Pajama Crafter Stamps. My card today is a great card for any occasion letting that special person know that they are a great catch.

My card today features the Sliding By Stamp Set (from the Pajama Crafter Stamps). The Stamp Set features three cute penguins in various activities along with a set of pine trees. It also has three wintery sentiments. To create my card I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pens to color up my little ice fishing penguins and the pine trees.

(Wondering what I used in this video/project? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

To color up my little scene I stamped my images using Memento Toffee Crunch Ink. Which is my go to ink for a no line coloring look but is so much easier because it takes on colors that go over it. Since I was using my Tombow Brush Markers to color the image I had to stamp it onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock. The Bristol Smooth allows you to blend the Tombow Dual Brush Pens with or with out water.

For the sky and selective areas of the background I used Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Ink and a little Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink. For the sky I blended both colors starting with Speckled Egg and then added a little Stormy Sky at the top.

Once all the color had dried it was time to add some final details. I took my WOW Embossing Pen and added areas where I wanted snow to be on both the trees and the ground. For the snow I used my White Puff Embossing Powder from WOW. Once heat set the White Puff Powder creates great snow. After that I used a little White Acrylic Paint and a little water and splattered the card front. To finish off the card I added a few Boyfriend Blue Rhinestone Mix (from Pajama Crafter Stamps).
