When a new month of Unity kits arrives in my mailbox, it always feels like Christmas morning. There’s something so inspiring about opening that package, seeing the red rubber in all its glory, and letting the creative ideas start flowing. This month, I couldn’t resist going all in. I pulled out the November 2025 Kit of the Month, the Uniquely Unity by Ang Kit, and the Background of the Month Kit—and challenged myself to create seven clean and layered card designs. Each card has its own story, but together they show just how beautifully these kits can work both separately and as a collection.

The problem I often hear from fellow cardmakers is, “I love my kits, but I don’t always know how to get the most out of them.” Trust me, I’ve been there. The solution? Start thinking of your kits not as single sets, but as mix-and-match creative tools that can inspire fresh combinations each time you stamp.

Exploring the November 2025 Kits

This month’s Kit of the Month is packed with five unique stamp sets—Nestled Near at Christmas, Clink & Celebrate, Where TreeTops Listen, Stories & Snuggles, and Vintage to Antique—all on one large 8½” x 11” sheet of red rubber cling. It comes perfectly packaged in a sealable bag, ready to be popped apart and used. For just $44.99 plus shipping, it’s an incredible value considering the variety you get—from festive winter scenes to year-round designs.

Then there’s the Uniquely Unity by Ang Kit, featuring the delightful Ho-Ho-Holiday Check-In stamp set. That jolly Santa and his cheerful reindeer are the kind of images that make you smile before you even ink them up. At $16.99 plus shipping, it’s the perfect add-on for your holiday crafting.

Rounding it out, the Background of the Month Kit, with its Pop, Fizz, Sparkle background stamp, adds a whole new layer of fun. For $18.99 plus shipping, this one’s all about energy and shine. I love that it works beautifully for Christmas, New Year’s, or any celebration.

Seven Cards, Endless Inspiration

I started with the Kit of the Month, creating five cards—one for each stamp set. Each design follows a clean and layered formula that gives plenty of detail without overwhelming the images. From there, I added one project featuring the Uniquely Unity set and finished with one using the Background of the Month. Here’s a little peek into each design and what inspired it.

The Season Shines Brighter – Nestled Near at Christmas

The sweet little bird perched on a snowy branch instantly caught my eye. There’s such a peaceful feel to it—like that quiet moment before the world wakes up on a winter morning. I added soft blue ink blending behind the bird to create a subtle halo effect and kept the layers crisp and white to let the image shine.

Pro Tip: When working with small, detailed images, keep your background simple and focus on creating contrast. A touch of soft color behind the image helps it stand out beautifully.

To Endings That Sparkle – Clink & Celebrate

This champagne glass image immediately made me think of New Year’s Eve. I added a bit of shimmer to the bubbles and framed the image with a soft ink-blended border to draw the eye in. It’s elegant but simple, making it perfect for quick celebration cards.

Later, I reused the same sentiment from this set for another design—proof that one good sentiment can do double duty across multiple cards.

Where TreeTops Listen – Winter Forest Scene

This stamp captures that magical, serene forest atmosphere. I blended shades of lavender and blue to give the snowy trees a frosty glow and added white splatter for a falling-snow effect. The result is a peaceful, elegant card that’s easy to recreate with just a few layers.

Pro Tip: If you’re creating snow effects with paint splatter, tap your brush from a few inches above for a more natural scatter pattern—closer splatter tends to look too heavy.

Wrapped in My Presence – Stories & Snuggles

I think we all know this character—the cozy robe, the slippers, the coffee mug, and the loyal little dog by her side. This image brings humor and heart to holiday cardmaking, and I love how it celebrates the “real life” moments of the season. I went with a soft pink background and an oval frame to keep the design warm and simple.

Pro Tip: When working with character stamps that have a humorous tone, try pairing them with gentle or pastel backgrounds. It keeps the focus on the personality of the image without competing for attention.

Vintage Beauty – Vintage to Antique

This design is elegant and timeless. I used delicate ink blending and kept my embellishments to a minimum so the intricate line work could shine. The result is a vintage-inspired card that feels polished but approachable.

Pro Tip: For highly detailed stamps like this, embossing in black or dark gray helps define the fine lines and adds a touch of sophistication to the finished piece.

Happy Ho-Ho-Holiday – Ho-Ho-Holiday Check-In

From the Uniquely Unity by Ang Kit, this playful Santa and reindeer pair makes such a cheerful focal point. I framed them with soft teal ink blending and layered white die-cut snowflakes around the image for texture. The sentiment pulls the whole look together in a classic holiday style that’s clean but festive.

This one’s especially fun to recreate if you enjoy coloring—there’s just enough detail to keep it interesting without feeling overwhelming.

Pop, Fizz, Sparkle – Background of the Month

The Pop, Fizz, Sparkle background practically begs to be the star of the show. I heat embossed it in white, added a colorful ink blend, and finished it with a sentiment from Clink & Celebrate. The effect is modern, bright, and full of motion—like a burst of confetti on paper.

Pro Tip: If you love ink blending but want to keep your colors from getting muddy, start with lighter shades and work outward. Overlapping too many deep tones can dull your final look.

Creative Takeaways

Working with these three Unity kits reminded me how much creative potential each monthly release holds. When you start mixing kits, you open up a world of design combinations—and you don’t need to spend hours planning them out.

If you ever feel stuck, try this approach:

  • Pick one simple card layout and repeat it with different images.

  • Keep a consistent color palette across your projects.

  • Mix backgrounds, sentiments, and images freely—Unity’s designs are made to coordinate.

Each of these seven cards came together quickly, yet they all feel unique. That’s the beauty of clean and layered design—it looks polished but doesn’t require perfection.

Final Thoughts

I had such a wonderful time creating these seven cards using Unity’s November 2025 Kits. Between the variety in the Kit of the Month, the festive charm of the Uniquely Unity by Ang Kit, and the bold energy of the Background of the Month, there’s truly something for every style of cardmaker this month.
