A Festive Joyeux Noël Duck Card with TRHD Stamps & Dies

Today’s project is one of those cards that just makes me smile from the moment the background comes together. I started with a smooth ink-blended panel and brought it to life using the Holiday Background Builder Stencil from The Rabbit Hole Designs. The star pattern was perfect for a festive night-sky feel, and adding Champagne Gold Stencil Butter to the top and bottom gave it that gorgeous, twinkly shimmer. To tie everything together, I created my own coordinating gold-edged panel using the same Stencil Butter—such an easy way to get a metallic look that matches perfectly. While everything dried, I stamped, colored, and die-cut the adorable Santa and reindeer ducks from the Ducks in a Row set. Their bright colors absolutely pop against the deep background, and the layered die-cut sentiment from Sentimentally Speaking Holidays Abroad adds the perfect polished finish.

Once the pieces were ready, all that was left was assembly—my favorite part! I layered the background onto the custom gold panel, popped everything onto an ivory top-fold A2 card base, and placed the ducks front and center with the “Joyeux Noël” greeting right beneath them. The end result is playful, shiny, and full of holiday cheer… the perfect mix for a Christmas card that feels both whimsical and polished.
