All the New My Sweet Petunia Tools Put to the Test

I recently had the chance to unbox and test several of the newest tools from My Sweet Petunia, including the MISTI LITE, Petunia Platform, Power Mag, and Mini Pawn Magnets, and I couldn’t wait to put them through their paces using supplies from my own stash. I tested the MISTI LITE with both clear and red rubber stamps and tried stamping on card fronts, envelopes, inside a book, and even paired it with stencils to see how versatile it really is. I love testing tools in real-world cardmaking situations, and this was a true first-impressions review where I focused on how these products actually work together at the craft table.

Overall, I think these tools are thoughtfully designed and could be incredibly useful for cardmakers and crafters, especially if you enjoy precision stamping and working beyond just standard A2 cards. There is a slight learning curve, but once I got comfortable, everything felt easy to use and purposeful. These products are designed to work together, but if you already have a magnetic glass mat or magnetic work surface, you can absolutely pick up only what you need—though there is a bundle available if you want it all. I’d personally recommend grabbing two Power Mag pieces for added flexibility. While I think the MISTI LITE performs beautifully, I do wish the door were about a half-inch larger for bigger stamps. That said, these tools really shine for cards, envelopes, journals, and stencil work, making them a smart addition to many craft rooms.
