Hello, crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a clean and simple card design that’s both meaningful and a little bit magical: my “Blooming with Pride” card. This project is all about celebrating Pride Month with color and heart, and I’ve used some fabulous supplies from The Rabbit Hole Designs LLC to make it all come together seamlessly. If you’re anything like me, you know that sometimes it’s the simplest cards that say the most—especially when you let color and texture shine. Let’s dive in!

Blooming with Pride: Easy CAS Card:
A Blooming Focal Point
For my card today, I reached for the Bloomin Heart Stamp Set and matching die. I love how this floral heart design is packed with detail—every petal and leaf just waiting to be filled with color. To make sure my stamping was extra crisp, I used Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink on OLO Premium Blending Card. And because I can’t resist a little shine, I covered the stamped image with Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder and heat set it. There’s just something about that glossy finish that makes your stamped images pop!
A little tip for heat embossing: don’t skip the Cottontail Powder Tool. It’s a lifesaver for keeping those stray flecks of powder away from your design. I always do a quick swipe over my cardstock before inking up my stamp, and it makes a world of difference.

Rainbow Blooms and a Heart Full of Pride
After embossing, I wanted this heart to truly bloom with every color of the rainbow. I pulled out my Honolulu B Brush Markers 48 Set and started coloring. I alternated the rainbow colors between the flowers, letting each petal shine in its own way. It was so relaxing to watch the colors blend together and see the heart come to life!
One of my favorite parts of cardmaking is how personal it can be. I remember the first time I used rainbow colors on a project—it was for a friend’s birthday, and it turned out to be such a joyful experience. Now, every time I bring out the rainbow markers, it feels like a mini celebration on my craft table.

Clean and Simple with a Touch of Texture
Once the coloring was done, I reached for the coordinating Bloomin Heart Die to cut out my floral heart. But I wanted to add a little something extra to the background while keeping that clean and simple look. I found a dotted heart embossing folder in my stash that fit perfectly, adding a soft texture without stealing the spotlight from my rainbow heart. If you’re looking for something similar, I linked to an alternative in the supply list at the end of this post.
I cut the embossed panel down to 3" x 5 1/4" and mounted it on a piece of Ivory Smooth Cardstock, leaving a plain edge on the left side. This small detail helps ground the card design and gives it a polished, layered look.
Pro tip: When you’re working with embossed backgrounds, try cutting them down to highlight just a portion of the texture. It’s a great way to add interest without overwhelming your focal point.

Assembling the Card Front
For the sentiment, I used the Happy Pride greeting from the Sentimentally Speaking Holidays Bundle. I gave it the same treatment as the floral heart: stamped in Versafine Clair Ink, clear embossed, and die cut. I love how the bold black sentiment balances all the bright rainbow colors.
To finish the card, I added the floral heart and sentiment with foam adhesive. This adds a little bit of dimension and helps everything stand out against the textured background. I also used a Clear Sparkle Overlay Pen to add just a touch of shimmer to the flowers, and a few white gel pen highlights with my White Bold Gelly Roll Pen for extra pop.

Bringing It All Together
This card design is one of those projects that proves you don’t need a million supplies or a complicated layout to make something truly special. With just a few key products—the Bloomin Heart Stamp Set and Bloomin Heart Die Set, the Sentimentally Speaking Holidays Bundle, and some fun coloring supplies—I created a card that’s clean, modern, and packed with meaning.

I hope this card inspires you to celebrate Pride Month with color and heart. It’s amazing how a simple card can bring a smile to someone’s face and show how much you care. If you give this design a try, I’d love to see your take on it! Share your creations with me—I’m always inspired by the unique ways you all bring your own magic to your craft.
