Labor Day Crafting Sales Worth Checking Out: Plus My Tips for Shopping the Deals Wisely

Labor Day weekend is here, and if you’re anything like me, a good crafting sale can be both exciting and a little dangerous for the craft-room budget!
There are several Labor Day sales happening right now from some of the companies I enjoy working with, including discounts on dies, crafting supplies, and more. Rather than simply giving you a list of coupon codes, I thought I’d share what caught my eye and how I’d approach each sale.
Because here's the thing: I don't think a sale should be a reason to buy something you don't need. But if there's something already sitting on your crafty wish list, a sale can be a great opportunity to save a little money.

So let's take a look!
Pixi Dust Designs: 25% Off for One Day Only

If you’ve had your eye on something from Pixi Dust Designs, Monday, September 7 is the day to shop.
Pixi Dust Designs is offering 25% off the entire store, excluding bundles, for one day only.
Use code: LABOR25
What I like about this sale is that it gives you an opportunity to look for those dies that can become workhorses in your craft room.
When I'm shopping for dies, I like to ask myself: "Can I use this in more than one type of card?" A die that works for birthdays might also work for thank-you cards, Christmas cards, friendship cards, or even masculine cards depending on how you use it.
And don't forget about patterned paper! Sometimes a die that looks completely different with a bright floral paper can become a totally different project when you use it with a spooky Halloween pattern or traditional Christmas colors.
Sale: 25% off entire store, excluding bundles
Date: Monday, September 7, 2026
Code: LABOR25
Brass & Bliss: Buy More, Save More on Select Dies
Brass & Bliss is also having a Labor Day Die Sale, and this one uses a Buy More, Save More format.
Savings start at 5% and go all the way up to 25% off on select dies.
This is one of those sales where I recommend making a wish list before you start shopping. Why? Because when you see "Buy More, Save More," it's easy to start adding things to your cart simply to reach the next discount level.
Instead, look at the projects you already want to make.
Maybe you've been wanting a particular die for a fall card. Perhaps there's another die you've been considering for Christmas. If both are genuinely useful additions to your stash, grouping those purchases together could make sense.
But if you find yourself adding three things you don't really want just to save a few more dollars, you've probably defeated the purpose of the sale!
Sale: 5%–25% off select dies
Deal: Buy More, Save More
GlassBoard Studio: 15% Off Everything

Here's another one that caught my attention.
GlassBoard Studio is offering 15% off everything from September 4–7 with code:
LABORDAY
And this is a good reminder that crafting purchases don't always have to be stamps and dies. Sometimes the things that make the biggest difference in our crafting are the tools and supplies we use over and over again. If there's something you've been considering for your crafting space, this could be a good time to take a look.
I like to think about purchases in terms of how often I'll use them. If something is going to make crafting easier, more enjoyable, or more organized every time I sit down at my desk, that's a very different purchase from something I'm probably going to use once.
Sale: 15% off everything
Dates: September 4–7, 2026
Code: LABORDAY
Emily Moore Designs: 50% Off Your Lowest-Priced Eligible Item

Emily Moore Designs has a fun offer going on as well. Use code IMCRAFTY to receive 50% off the lowest-priced eligible item in your cart.
There are a few important details:
One-time offer per customer
Individual items only
Bundles are excluded
Offer ends September 8 at 12 AM PST
This is the type of sale where I would look for a smaller item I've already been wanting to try.
And remember that the discount applies to the lowest-priced eligible item, so don't add something to your cart simply because you think you're getting half off your most expensive purchase.
Instead, make sure the items you're buying are things you'll actually use.
That's my favorite rule for shopping crafting sales:
Buy for your projects, not just for the discount.
ScrapbookPal: Save 10% When You Spend $60
ScrapbookPal is offering 10% off when you spend $60 or more with coupon code:
LD2026
The promotion ends September 7, 2026. There are a few exclusions, including My Sweet Petunia, Clearance, and Scratch & Dent items. The coupon also cannot be combined with other offers.
This is another sale where I wouldn't recommend spending $60 simply to get the discount. Instead, take a look at your crafting supply list. Are you running low on cardstock? Do you need adhesive? Is there a tool you've been planning to replace? Maybe you've got a couple of upcoming projects that require specific supplies. Or you want to stock up on a few Copic Refills or markers! If you're already close to the $60 threshold, then the discount may be a nice bonus.
My Three Favorite Ways to Shop a Crafting Sale
With so many Labor Day promotions happening, here's the strategy I use before clicking that checkout button.
1. Shop Your Wish List First
Before browsing the sale, make a quick list of things you've already been considering.
This keeps you focused.
Otherwise, it's very easy to start thinking, "Well, it's on sale, so maybe I need it."
Trust me—I've been there!
A discount doesn't make something useful. It just makes something cheaper.
2. Look for Supplies You Can Use in Multiple Ways
This is especially important if you're trying to get more mileage from your crafting supplies.
A versatile die, stencil, or stamp set can become several completely different cards simply by changing:
Your color palette
Patterned paper
Sentiments
Card layout
Coloring technique
Embellishments
For example, the same basic die can look completely different when paired with bright summer colors versus traditional Christmas colors.
That's how I like to stretch my craft supplies.
3. Think About What You'll Actually Make
Here's my favorite question to ask:
"What card could I make with this?"
If I can immediately picture several projects, that's a good sign. If I'm struggling to come up with even one idea, I probably don't need it—no matter how good the sale looks.
Don't Forget Your Stash!
One of the best things about getting a new crafting supply is discovering how well it works with things you already own. Before buying coordinating products, take a quick look through your stash. You may already have the cardstock, patterned paper, inks, markers, or embellishments you need.
That's one of my favorite ways to make a new purchase feel fresh without completely rebuilding my craft room around it.
And if you're trying to use up some of that patterned paper you've been saving, a new die can be the perfect excuse to pull those older papers back out.
Which Labor Day Sale Will You Check Out?
There are some great discounts happening this Labor Day weekend, but remember—you don't have to take advantage of every sale. If there's something you've been wanting, this could be a great time to save on it.
Here are the sales one more time:
Pixi Dust Designs:

Whatever you decide to shop—or don't shop—I hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend and find a little time to get creative. And remember, sometimes the best crafting session starts with something you already have sitting in your craft room!
Happy Crafting,

Rick Adkins
