Today I’m sharing a pair of clean and simple floral cards I created for the Pinkfresh Studio Delicate Details November Release Instagram Hop, and I have to say, this release lives up to its name in all the best ways. Every piece feels soft, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, which made these cards such a joy to put together. I’ve always loved the look of detailed florals without the time commitment of coloring, so this was the perfect chance to lean into stencils, light ink blends, and simple layouts that let the designs shine. When I first sat down to work with the Petal Poise Stamps Stencils and Dies, the Bloomscape Cling Stamp, and the Lush Elegance Press Plate, I felt a little like I’d opened a treasure box filled with possibilities. It reminded me of being a kid in my grandmother’s craft room and finding a new floral stamp she’d picked up on sale. She always said, “When in doubt, start with the flowers,” and that’s exactly the energy I brought to these cards.

Clean & Simple Floral Cards with the Pinkfresh Studio Delicate Details Release

Card One: A Soft Bloomscape Frame

For the first design, I was drawn straight to the Bloomscape Cling Stamp. There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching those beautifully illustrated florals come to life with just a bit of ink. I stamped the image onto Neenah Solar White with Detail Black Ink and reached for the Bloomscape Stencils to add color. Using Pinkfresh Studio’s Lemon Whip and Sparkling Rose for the florals and Limoncello and Eucalyptus for the greenery gave everything a light, airy feel. When I use stencils like these, I love playing with pressure—lighter in some areas, heavier in others—because that soft gradation makes the finished piece feel instantly more dimensional without adding extra layers.

Once everything was blended, I sent the panel through my die-cut machine using the Bloomscape Die Set. If you haven’t used one of Pinkfresh’s one-pass die sets before, they are game changers for clean and simple cards. Every element is perfectly spaced and cut out at once, which keeps the process quick and the results tidy.

To give the card a gentle focal point, I created a vellum frame using the Nested Elongated Ovals Blanket Stitched Dies. Cutting the frame from vellum and stacking two layers added thickness without covering the background. Before attaching it, I stamped the Bloomscape image again—this time in Sparkling Rose—directly onto the card base for a subtle tone-on-tone texture. It’s one of those little tricks that looks like you fussed for hours, but really it’s just a quick impression with a pretty ink color.

I arranged the die-cut florals along the right side of the vellum frame, added a simple twine bow, and reached for a leftover sentiment from the cards I created for the release blog hop. The Lush Elegance Press Plate and coordinating die set left me with a few extra pieces, including the Grateful for This Moment sentiment that fit perfectly with the soft floral look. A sprinkle of Glacier Jewels finished everything off. If you ever feel like a card needs “just something more,” a few well-placed jewels can balance a design beautifully without distracting from the overall simplicity.

Card Two: A Clean Ink-Blended Panel with Petal Poise Florals

The second card was inspired by one of my favorite simple cardmaking tricks: masking. There’s something so satisfying about peeling back that tape to reveal a crisp line. For this design, I masked off the top of a white A2 card base and blended Sparkling Rose Ink with a large Pinkfresh Studio blending brush. While the tape was still in place, I stamped the florals from the Petal Poise Stamp Set in the same Sparkling Rose Ink to create a soft, tone-on-tone background. It’s a small detail, but it adds depth and interest without pulling any attention away from the main floral cluster.

I stamped the same Petal Poise florals again on a separate piece of Neenah using Detail Black Ink and colored them with the coordinating stencils. Sparkling Rose and Eucalyptus made a lovely combination here, especially with the variation in pressure to create lighter and darker tones. I find this kind of stenciling almost meditative; you can build color slowly, layer by layer, and watch the florals bloom right under your fingertips.

After die-cutting the pieces with the Petal Poise Die Set, I arranged them along the ink blended line to soften the transition between the pink and white sections. I stamped the Your Kindness Shines sentiment on a cardstock scrap and popped it up just below the floral spray. A few Glacier Jewels tied everything together, giving just the slightest sparkle without overpowering the clean design.

Final Thoughts and Creative Takeaways

Both of these cards rely on a mix of thoughtful details, easy ink blending, and clean layouts—the heart of what makes the Delicate Details Release so special. The Petal Poise and Bloomscape sets offer so many ways to build soft, layered florals without committing to time-consuming coloring sessions. And the Lush Elegance Press Plate brought in those crisp, polished sentiments that finish a design with intention.

If you’re ever feeling stuck or overwhelmed by a busy stamp set, try focusing on one or two elements you love and building your card around them. Let the inks do the work. Use vellum for softness. Add dimension in unexpected places. Most of all, have fun experimenting with what feels simple but beautiful to you.

And if you’re hopping along today, I hope these clean and simple cards give you a few ideas for using the new Pinkfresh Studio Delicate Details Release in your own craft space.
