How to Create an Accordion Fun Fold Card with a Hidden Inside Flap

If you love a fun fold that looks fancy but comes together quickly, this Accordion Fun Fold Card with a Hidden Inside Flap is such a treat to make. The gorgeous Rainbow Village 12x12 Pattern Paper from Paper Rose Studio does most of the work with its bold colors and playful artwork, and keeping the pattern lined up across the folds creates that seamless “wow” moment when the card opens. You’ll start by trimming your patterned paper to 4" x 12" and then cutting it down to 4" x 10". The leftover 2" x 4" strip is perfect for the hidden flap on the inside. A 4" x 4" piece of Basic White Cardstock—scored at 2"—creates the hinge for the flap and makes the whole design feel clean and polished.

To finish the outside, one of the Rainbow Village cut-aparts makes a sweet focal panel and sentiment, and layering in a few of the Rainbow Village Small Florals Embossed Die Cuts and Rainbow Village Embossed Die Cuts adds dimension and color that ties in beautifully with the patterned paper.
