Let It Snow Stamp Set: Winter Hi Card with Colored Pencils

There’s something so magical about pairing soft winter colors with colored pencil coloring, and this Winter Hi Card came together beautifully using the Let It Snow Stamp Set from C. C. Designs. I stamped Elisa onto Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink and colored her with colored pencils, which really brings out the cozy, storybook feel of this sweet winter image. After fussy cutting her out, I created a softly shaped background using Chunky A2 Scallop Rectangles Dies, keeping everything warm and neutral while still feeling wintry.

For the background, I used a Cloudy Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks to add gentle, colorful clouds, then finished it off with white and iridescent splatter for that snowy sparkle. Once everything was dry, I adhered the panel to a top-folding A2 card base made from Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock and added a bold hi sentiment, a few snowflakes, rhinestones, and white highlights to complete the card. This design is a great reminder that winter cards don’t have to be complicated—just a few thoughtful techniques and a charming stamp set from C. C. Designs can create a soft, eye-catching handmade card perfect for the season.
