Today, I’m sharing a card that’s bursting with color and joy—a perfect way to celebrate Pride and the beauty of rainbows! I’ve always loved how color can completely change the mood of a card, and this design featuring the Fabulous Fuchsias Bundle from The Rabbit Hole Designs LLC really brought that to life. I wanted to create a card that not only showcased the vibrant blooms but also had a touch of sophistication with the layered frames and a bold sentiment.

Rainbow Fuchsias in Full Bloom Pride Card with TRHD Stamps & Paper:
I started out by stamping those gorgeous fuchsia images onto OLO Premium Marker Blending Card using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I love how crisp the lines are on this cardstock—it really makes the images pop. To create that rainbow effect, I colored each flower in a single color of the rainbow using my trusty Copic markers. Keeping the same green for all the leaves and stems was a little trick I’ve learned over the years—it helps tie all those bright colors together without overwhelming the design.
One of my favorite parts about card making is how a simple idea can transform into something really special. I remember the first time I tried rainbow coloring; I was so intimidated by the idea of mixing all those colors. But the more I experimented, the more I realized it’s about keeping things balanced. For this card, I let each fuchsia shine in its own color, and the results are just stunning.

Framing the Rainbow
To bring some focus to the rainbow blooms, I turned to the You’ve Been Framed Dies. These dies are a game changer when you want to add dimension without too much fuss. I die-cut three of the smallest frames from some scraps of heavyweight white cardstock. Stacking them together with liquid adhesive creates this wonderful chipboard-like frame—such an easy trick for added dimension! I think that bit of height really helps the florals stand out.
Behind the frame, I added a piece of the rainbow heart pattern paper from the Spring Floral 1 6 x 6 Paper Pack by The Rabbit Hole Designs. That pattern paper is so happy and colorful—I couldn’t resist using it as a backdrop. I trimmed it down to fit behind the frame perfectly and adhered it to the last frame in my stack.

A Happy Pride Sentiment
For the sentiment, I reached for the Sentimentally Speaking Holidays Bundle. This set has such a great mix of sentiments, and I was thrilled to find “Happy Pride” in there—it felt like the perfect finishing touch for this card. I stamped it in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and used the coordinating die from the bundle to cut it out. I love how a die-cut sentiment adds that final layer of polish.

Finishing Touches That Make a Difference
Once I had everything layered together—florals, frames, and sentiment—it all felt complete. But I always like to add a little extra detail, so I pulled out my Gelly Roll Bold White Gel Pen and added highlights to the flowers. Those tiny white accents make the colors pop even more and add that playful touch I can’t resist.
A little pro tip: If you’re working with bright colors, consider adding white gel pen highlights or some sparkle to tone down any areas that feel too intense. It’s a quick fix that keeps your design feeling balanced.

The Joy of Crafting with Color
For me, creating this card was about more than just making something pretty—it was about celebrating love and inclusion. Rainbows have always had such a hopeful, joyful feel, and I think this card really captures that spirit. It’s a great reminder that card making isn’t just about the supplies—it’s about what you’re saying with every color choice and every layer you add.
