Hello and welcome back to the blog; happy Monday! Today is Day 21 of the Holiday Card Series. For today's card, I created four festive cards using some pattern paper scraps to share with you today along with a step by step video tutorial.
For today's cards I created four fun and festive cards using some pattern paper scraps from my stash! I encourge you to dig through your stash of pattern paper and cardstock scraps and create this fun designs. You can cut the strips with a paper trimmer but I found it easier to use the Slimline Strip Dies (from Scrapbook com). This way all my strips were perfectly straight cuts; no wonky edges to try to fit into place. The other star of the show here is the Adhesive Sheets from Sizzix; they are a game changer for attaching all the strips. For the embossing folders I used two I had in my stash from Spellbinders. One was the October Embossing Folder of the Month folder and the other was a holiday themed folder. To finish off the cards I aded my sentiment from Holiday Mug Shots (from Catherine Pooler Designs) and then added a little Shimmery Splash (from Burtus Monroe) to each die cut tree (cut with the Nested Fir Tree Dies). To finish off the cards I added them to a top folding A2 size card base cut from Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock.
