Sweet Winter Birthday Card with Miss Ink Stamps | Woodland Angel Scene

Today’s project is all about creating a soft and sweet clean-and-simple Winter Birthday Card using some of my favorite sets from Miss Ink Stamps. I started by stamping the Little Angel images from the Little Angel Stamp Set onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock and building the snowy backdrop with the Holly Jolly Stamp Set. Once everything was stamped in crisp Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, I brought the scene to life with my Ohuhu Brush Markers, starting with the simple winter background and then moving on to the adorable woodland critters and the angel herself. After coloring, I fussy cut the animals and angel and arranged them onto the card front, popping a few up with foam adhesive for dimension while keeping the overall design light and airy. A touch of Rock Candy Glitter adds that perfect winter sparkle without overwhelming the clean and simple layout.

To finish things off, I stamped the sentiment Have a heavenly day (from the Little Angel Stamp Set) on the outside of the card, and added white highlights with a Posca paint marker, and tucked the completed panel onto a sturdy top-folding card base. I even added a little extra love inside the card with the Holly Jolly image stamped in teal blue ink. I stamped the birthday greeting from the Everyday Sentiment Stamp Set to the inside of the card. This sweet winter scene would work beautifully for birthdays all season long, and the mix of Miss Ink Stamps sets makes it easy to customize.
