I love when a cardmaking technique gives new life to supplies that have been sitting in my stash for a while. That was exactly the idea behind this fall card. I pulled out some retired leaf dies, paired them with a few warm foil colors, and experimented with creating my own foiled embellishments rather than relying only on pre-made foiled pieces.

Sometimes the most interesting part of making a card isn't the technique itself—it's deciding how to let that technique shine. This project reminded me that when a background is this striking, the best design choice is often knowing when to stop adding more.
